Audit This Class

The Howard Fine Acting Studio is widely regarded as one of the top acting studios in Los Angeles. It has a faculty that is second to none, in an professional atmosphere that is focused on the work. It does not concern itself with showcases or shortcuts. It exists solely to make you a better actor. It is for that reason that I find myself still training there 2 years after I first began. It is the best money I have ever invested in my career.

I credit Laura Gardner with making me a better actor every day. From preparing a scene to a cold reading, she has completely changed how I approach a role. I find the process affecting everything I do, including voice overs. I can’t imagine phoning it in ever again. It also helps that she’s “in the trenches” with us, as she likes to say. She’s a working Los Angeles actor, so she knows everything you’re going through. How many acting teachers can start off a class by telling you about an episode of My Name Is Earl that she just shot?

I recommend any actor old or new to L.A. to audit Laura’s class. Her next Comprehensive Technique Class begins June 28th, twice weekly, for 6 weeks. For more on the studio, visit To learn more about Laura, go to
