Sherman Oaks to the rescue for an Iraqi boy

23Aug07

The CNN story of an Iraqi boy that was grabbed by masked men, doused in gas and set on fire while he was playing outdoors has grabbed the attention of readers worldwide.

Turns out, it’s the Children’s Burn Foundation right here in Sherman Oaks that comes to the rescue. They plan to fly the boy and his family to the States and cover all medical costs. You can help by making a donation to the foundation here.

Maybe California isn’t going to hell after all.
