Another job for Seacrest?

History is in the making, as the American Music Awards becomes the first awards show to be held in the shiny new Nokia Theater at L.A. Live in Downtown Los Angeles. The AMAs go down November 18, 2007.

The question now becomes: who will host?

Older white men in expensive suits circle an oblong table. A rendering of a new theater exterior, awash in searchlights is projected on a screen at the far end of the room. A board meeting is in full swing.

Now remember, this is our 35th anniversary. So, the show’s gotta be big. We need a host that’s a household name. Someone hot. Hip. Now. Someone with what the kids call “street cred.” Someone stylish. Someone with a magnificent tan. Who can we get?
